The Thrift Whisperer

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT

Remember that T-shirt I posted a while back, which is my “oldest” article of clothing?

The one signed by Wil Wheaton, age 14? Won by me, his biggest fan, at age 12?

Well.

He was in Seattle for Emerald City Comicon this weekend, and graciously met me backstage to authenticate the signature on said T-shirt.

It was real. Legit. Confirmed.

As was his own authenticity, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm.

The story airs on Tuesday, but here’s a sneak peek.

And, in the spirit of this blog, I should let you know that my necklace and cardi are both courtesy of Seattle Goodwill, SLU location.
